TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Mark your calendars and start collecting your loose change — WCTV’s 12th annual Red Kettle Takeover Day is back this week.
The 12th annual event is happening Thursday, December 11th. In the past eleven years, this one day event has raised thousands of dollars for the Salvation Army of Tallahassee.(Abby Walton)
The WCTV team will be out at Walmart off Thomasville Road in Tallahassee on Thursday, Dec. 11, from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., collecting donations for the Salvation Army of Tallahassee.
If you can’t make it out, we’ll also have a virtual Red Kettle on WCTV’s website where you can donate. All the money raised remains in our community, helping people in Leon, Gadsden and Wakulla counties.
It’s happening on Thursday, December 11th from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Walmart off Thomasville Road in Tallahassee.(Abby Walton)
In the past eleven years, this one-day fundraiser has helped raise more than $61,000.
