City of Cape Coral will host its third annual New Year’s Eve Celebration from 6 p.m. to midnight Dec. 31 along Southeast 47th Terrace and Southeast 10th Place. Thousands are expected to attend the free street festival, which will feature performances by the Pop 2000 Tour with Chris Kirkpatrick of NSYNC, O-Town, Ryan Cabrera and LFO, along with local favorites Deb & the Dynamics and DJ Rifik. To accommodate families, the city will offer two countdowns with synchronized pyrotechnics at 8 p.m. and midnight.
