Machine Gun Kelly is a Grammy-nominated artist. The Heavy Pets are a funked-up rock and roll band from South Florida. Called “a living, breathing force of nature” by Relix magazine, they are known for their songcraft and powerhouse live performances. According to their official website, the band has been a mainstay on the national touring circuit for over a decade.

The Heavy Pets are a seasoned live act, playing over 1,600 shows across the country since their inception in 2005. The band’s energetic, extended sets have been described as “full blown musical salvation” that embodies the sound of their Florida home, weaving together elements of indie rock, funk and reggae into a style that is uniquely their own.

The group became an instant Sirius radio sensation upon the release of their debut album “Whale” in 2007. The crossover sound on their self-titled release, named a Top 10 Album of 2010 by The Huffington Post, propelled them into the periphery of mainstream music.

In 2011, the band released “Swim Out Past the Sun,” an acoustic affair featuring longtime Jerry Garcia collaborator David Grisman. Beginning in 2013, the band put out a series of three EPs recorded at the legendary Power Station studios.

The Heavy Pets are currently touring in support of their latest release, “Put It in a Flower,” which was released on the Color Red record label. Band members include Jeff Lloyd on guitar and vocals, Mike Garulli on guitar and vocals, Jim Wuest on keys and vocals, Jamie Newitt on drums and vocals, and Chris Patsis on bass guitar.

The Casualties

According to Season of Mist Records, The Casualties have long been the voice of the disenfranchised, the disillusioned and the dispossessed of this planet. These street fighters are still angry, still political and still keep the heart and spirit of Punk alive.

This was already the declared aim of The Casualties, when vocalist Jorge Herrera founded the band together with second singer Colin in the year 1990. Hailing from New York City, they were inspired by early street punks such as The Exploited, Sex Pistols and Charged GBH.

The Casualties successfully revived this style with their hard-hitting music as well as their visuals and took it to a new level with an impressive track record of 11 studio full-lengths, three EPs and three live albums so far. Their most recent full-length, “Written in Blood,” was released in 2018.

Following Herrera’s retirement, the band currently consists of Jake Kolatis, guitarist; Marc Meggers, drums; Doug Wellmon, bass; and David Rodriguez, vocals.

Method Man and Redman

Known for their unique chemistry, humorous lyrics, and dynamic performances, Method Man, born Clifford Smith, gained fame as a member of the Wu-Tang Clan, while Redman, born Reginald Noble, is known for his solo career and affiliation with the Def Squad.

The duo has collaborated on several projects, including their joint albums “Blackout!” and “Blackout! 2” which showcased their complementary styles and solidified their status in the rap community. Their friendship and willingness to experiment with various musical styles have made them influential artists in hip-hop culture.

Method Man and Redman have ventured into various projects outside of their music careers. They have both appeared in films and television series, with Method Man starring in shows like “The Wire” and “Power Book II: Ghost,” while Redman has made appearances in films like “How High” and TV shows like “Method & Red.”

Additionally, they have engaged in business ventures, including cannabis-related enterprises. Both artists have also contributed to the world of gaming, with Method Man providing voice work for video games and Redman being involved in various promotional events related to gaming culture.

Method Man also has an athletic clothing line Tical Athletics and he will release his first independent album, “Muddy Waters Too,” this month.

Jacoozy is a five-piece band originally formed in Boone, North Carolina. According to the band’s website, they are making waves from their home base in Asheville. Blending rock, funk, jazz, and alternative, Jacoozy crafts a sound that’s both eclectic and unmistakably their own.

The band features a lineup of seasoned musicians, including guitarists Killian Wright and Will Fentress, drummer Pauly Scott, keyboardist Isaac McMurry, and bassist Ramon Garcia.
