SO INVESTIGATORS HAVE RECEIVED A LOT OF VIDEO FROM PEOPLE, SPECIFICALLY DRIVERS. SO WHEN THOSE DRIVERS WERE ABLE TO SLOW DOWN, THEY WERE ABLE TO GET SOME VIDEO OF THIS. WE EVEN SHOWED YOU SOME OF THAT VIDEO FROM SOMEONE’S DASH CAMERA, WHERE THEY WERE ABLE TO SEE THAT PLANE COME DOWN. THIS HAS BEEN ESPECIALLY HELPFUL FOR INVESTIGATORS AS THEY PIECED TOGETHER WHAT HAPPENED. TODAY WE GOT TO SEE WHAT THAT PLANE LOOKS LIKE NOW WHERE IT IS, AND WE HEARD THE 911 CALLS MADE THAT NIGHT. A PLANE JUST LANDED ON THE HIGHWAY. A SMALL PLANE LANDED ON I-95 GOING SOUTHBOUND. I-95. A PLANE JUST CAME DOWN. THE 900. 11 CALLS BEGAN POURING IN. WE GOT HELP ON THE WAY. AFTER THIS SMALL AIRCRAFT CRASHED DOWN ON I-95 IN COCOA ON MONDAY NIGHT, SLAMMING INTO THIS WOMAN’S TOYOTA CAMRY. AS WE LOOK DOWN THE ROAD, WE COULD IMMEDIATELY SEE BLUE LIGHTS. YOU KNOW, THERE WERE THERE WAS FHP RIGHT THERE, AND I SAW A SHERIFF’S VEHICLE SECONDS WITHIN SECONDS. SO WE KNEW THAT HELP WAS ON THE WAY. VIDEO GIVEN TO WESH TWO FROM A WITNESS SHOWS HER GETTING OUT OF THE CAR SHORTLY AFTER. ACCORDING TO FLORIDA HIGHWAY PATROL, SHE HAD MINOR INJURIES, AND THE PILOT AND PASSENGER OF THE PLANE, BOTH IN THEIR LATE 20S, WEREN’T HURT. ANY LANDING YOU CAN WALK AWAY IS A GOOD LANDING ON WEDNESDAY. WESH TWO GOT A BIRD’S EYE VIEW OF WHAT THE PLANE LOOKS LIKE NOW. IT WAS TOWED AWAY BY A LOCAL COMPANY AND WILL NEED TO BE INSPECTED BY INVESTIGATORS. THE NTSB, FLORIDA HIGHWAY PATROL AND THE FAA ARE LOOKING AT THIS FROM ALL ANGLES TO DECIDE WHAT WENT WRONG AND IF ANYONE WAS AT FAULT. SO WE HOPE FOR THAT. 911 calls released after plane crash-lands on Central Florida highway

The 911 calls related to the emergency landing of a small plane on Interstate 95 in Brevard County have been released.The plane was attempting to make an emergency landing on the southbound side of I-95 near mile marker 201 in Cocoa when it hit a Toyota Camry.”A plane just landed on the highway,” one caller said. “It was pretty scary.”The caller said she witnessed the plane “hit a small, white car,” forcing everyone else on the highway to slow down.In another call, the 911 operator asked for the address of the emergency, to which the caller replied, “I-95, a plane just came down.””The people in the plane are moving around, there are other cars, they’re coming out,” the woman said.The caller can be heard shouting at others in the background, alerting them that she was on the phone with 911. The driver of the vehicle hit by the plane was identified as a 57-year-old woman. She was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries, according to the Brevard County Fire Rescue.The pilot, a 27-year-old man, and the passenger, also a 27-year-old man, were not injured during the crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.The National Transportation Safety Board opened an investigation into the incident.According to the NTSB, the plane departed from Merritt Island on an instructional flight before losing power in both engines, forcing the pilot to land on the highway.NTSB asks that witnesses to the accident or those who have surveillance video or other information that could be relevant to the investigation contact witness@ntsb.gov.>> Dramatic video shows the moment the plane collided with the vehicle on I-95
