Miami’s coolest aperitivo bar has expanded north for the season.
ViceVersa, the downtown hot spot at The Elser Hotel, is now open at the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences in Fort Lauderdale.
Located in the beachfront hotel’s lobby through May 2026, the bar marks the first residency for ViceVersa, which was a James Beard Award nominee for Best New Bar earlier this year. It was also named to the Michelin Guide, which praised its “sultry moodiness.”
Bartender and co-owner Valentino Longo, who opened the original ViceVersa in 2024, said that the bar aims to highlight his Italian heritage and that opening in Fort Lauderdale is the perfect way to spread aperitivo culture.

“Bringing ViceVersa to Fort Lauderdale is an exciting new experience that allows us to expand on our original intention and affords us the opportunity to share the joyful act of aperitivo with even more guests,” he said. “This residency in particular takes place in a beautiful setting that truly reflects the feeling of vacation.”
Guests can expect a cocktail menu that highlights that idea of vacation, with drinks like the Martini Doppio, which reinvents the Gibson with Grey Goose or Bombay Sapphire with Americano Rosa and Tio Pepe and is finished with pickled onions. There’s also the popular ViceVersa Negroni with its signature Mi-To amaro blend.
Exclusive to the Fort Lauderdale residency are the Beeswax Old Fashioned with Russell’s bourbon, Cynar and walnut bitters; a white wine spritz; and the Coast to Coast, with Aperol, toasted coconut and prosecco.

ViceVersa joins a property that boasts two notable upscale restaurants: MAASS from Chef Ryan Ratino, where the Chef’s Counter was awarded Fort Lauderdale’s first Michelin star earlier this year, and the stunning Mediterranean restaurant Evelyn’s from Chef Brandon Salomon, which was named to the Michelin Guide and could well be the next Broward spot to earn a star.
Mali Carow, general manager for the Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale, said the addition of the ViceVersa residence was a good fit for the hotel considering Fort Lauderdale’s changing restaurant landscape.
“ViceVersa brings an elevated yet playful spirit that aligns perfectly with the lifestyle of our hotel and our guests,” she said. “Fort Lauderdale continues to emerge as a destination for world-class food and beverage experiences, and this residency adds a dynamic new layer to that story.”
