TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – We will be riding the temperature roller coaster over the next few days.
Tonight and tomorrow:
If you are heading out to Victorian Christmas in Thomasville or have any evening plans, a cold evening is in store. Temperatures will quickly drop into the low 50s and upper 40s after sunset.
By tomorrow morning, temperatures will likely be in the low 30s for most of the area, with a few spots a little colder as high pressure sits over the Big Bend and South Georgia.
By tomorrow afternoon, winds will turn south and should warm us up into the upper 60s. No rain is expected. If you are going to Victorian Christmas tomorrow evening, it will still be chilly, but not as cold as tonight, with temperatures in the 50s.
Warmer this weekend:
We start Saturday with temperatures in the 40s, warming up into the low 70s by the afternoon. A mix of sun and clouds throughout the day.
A warmer start to the day on Sunday in the upper 40s to low 50s. More clouds to end your weekend as a strong cold front approaches the area. The front will bring a tiny chance for a stay shower, otherwise partly cloudy skies. The front will bring breezy conditions for your Sunday and really cool things down early next week.
Chilly to start the new workweek:
Morning lows on Monday will be in the 30s, possibly colder in some spots. The afternoon will remain cool with a light north wind, keeping temperatures in the 50s most of the day.
Tuesday will be another cold start in the 30s, possibly 20s, before the cold air departs and we warm into the 60s by the afternoon.
Slowly warming into the middle of next week.
