PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — A wanted man attempted to provide law enforcement with a false name in an effort to evade arrest after he was spotted at a gas station on Tuesday.
On Tuesday night, a detective from the Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD) spotted the wanted suspect, identified as Russ Bien Aime, at a local gas station near NW St. James Drive, police say.

PSLPD says Aime had an active felony warrant for:
Trafficking OxycodonePossession of marijuana with intent to sell Possession of oxycodone with intent to sell
Aime was immediately taken into custody after contact was made. Police said during his arrest, he tried providing officers with a fake name. When police searched his vehicle, they also found a loaded handgun, over 1 pound of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and over $4,000 in cash.
He was booked on counts of giving false ID to law enforcement, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
