STUART, Fla. (CBS12) — A two year investigation has led to the arrest of a man accused of possessing child sexual abuse material.
According to the Stuart Police Department, in 2023 its office had received information from concerned parents about disturbing material that was found on their child’s device. SPD says an investigation was launched in collaboration with the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, the U.S. Marshals Service the suspect, Robert Allen Quick, was arrested in Jonesville, South Carolina in November.

Quick was extradited to Martin County Jail and is being held on $100,000 bond.
Quick faces felony counts of computer crimes, enticement of a child, promoting the sexual performance of a child, possession of child sexual abuse material and out of state transmission of harmful material to a minor.
