A crash in Cape Coral disrupted power for more than 1,000 residents on Friday night.

Cape Coral police reported the crash occurred at the intersection of Del Prado Boulevard and Northeast Third Terrace. More than 1,100 people were without electricity.

Lee County Electric Cooperative (LCEC) restored power to the area shortly before 11 p.m. 

Officials urged drivers to be cautious and treat intersections with no lights or flashing red as a four-way stop.Â
