FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport experienced a power outage early Sunday morning, affecting operations across the airport.

The outage prompted officials to work closely with Florida Power & Light to restore power to the terminals.

Airport officials confirmed that as of Sunday morning, Terminals 1, 2, and 3 have resumed normal operations, while Terminal 4 continues to experience intermittent power disruptions.

Despite the outages, airport officials confirmed that all flights, including arrivals and departures, are operating on schedule.

According to Flightaware.com, there have been a total of 155 delays at Fort Lauderdale International, with the same number affecting flights within, into, or out of the United States as of 10:45 a.m.

Additionally, there have been six cancellations Sunday at FLL, including six flights within, into, or out of the U.S. Miami International Airport has also reported up to 116 cancellations as of Sunday morning.

They aid they were working diligently with FPL to resolve the issue and ensure continued safe operations at the airport. Passengers are encouraged to check with their airlines for the latest updates.
