THIS AFTER SERGEANT ERIC LEVASSEUR SPENT SEVERAL DAYS IN THE TRAUMA ICU AT HCA LONGWOOD HOSPITAL IN FORT PIERCE. THERE, AUTHORITIES SAY SURGEONS SUCCESSFULLY REMOVED ADDITIONAL REMAINS OF A BULLET. THAT BULLET WAS LODGED DEEPER THAN THEY FIRST THOUGHT, BUT THE PROCEDURE DID GO WELL, WE’RE TOLD. On Monday, the Port St. Lucie Police Department provided an update on the health of Sgt. Erik Levasseur, who was shot Dec. 1 while responding to a call for service.The police department said that Sgt.
