Two men from Orlando are dead after a fatal crash Monday morning on State Road 429 southbound at mile marker 17 in Orange County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The fatal crash happened in the southbound lanes of S.R. 429 near Winter Garden Vineland Road in Winter Garden at approximately 6:08 a.m., FHP said.
FHP said a 2012 Dodge Ram Chassis Cab, driven by a 35-year-old man was traveling south on S.R. 429 when he lost control of the truck. A s a result, the vehicle overturned multiple times.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle was pronounced dead on-scene, FHP said. A 37-year-old, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
This crash remains under investigation.
