Winners of four straight games and five of their last six, the Miami Dolphins are one win away from getting back to .500 on the season at 7-7. But they’ll have to go through their toughest opponent to date to get there.

On Monday night, the Dolphins are on the road to play the 7-6 Pittsburgh Steelers in a game with real playoff implications. But it’s not the Steelers who pose the biggest challenge for the Dolphins. It’s the weather in Pittsburgh, forecasted to be 18 degrees at kickoff, according to Weather.com. That’s bad news for the team from South Florida.

The Dolphins have lost 13 straight games including the playoffs with kickoff temps below 40 degrees.

Pittsburgh is a 3-point favorite with -175 odds on the moneyline at BetMGM. Miami is +145 to win.

What is Tua Tagovailoa’s record in cold weather?

Tagovailoa is 0-5 in games with temperatures below 40 degrees at kickoff. That means Miami’s losing streak in cold weather games isn’t all the fault of the quarterback, as he played in less than half the 13 straight losses. However, he clearly hasn’t done much to help either.
