A sports car crashed into a utility pole in Brickell, knocking out power to more than a dozen customers.

The crash happened just after midnight on SW 2nd Avenue between 12th and 13th streets.

The dark colored Ferrari appeared to have spun out and crashed into the pole, snapping it in half.

Witnesses told NBC6 they heard a loud boom before seeing the mangled Ferrari with its airbags deployed.

Miami Police and Florida Power & Light crews on scene.

Around 15 customers are currently without power, according to the FPL outage map. Crews have removed the splintered utility pole.
