TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – It’s perfect dog-walking weather and perfect dog-adopting weather too!
Furry Friday is a collaboration between WCTV and the Tallahassee Animal Service Center designed to spotlight dogs awaiting adoption in hopes of helping them find their fur-ever homes faster.
Here are the dogs we are featuring this week:
MEET BONNIE!
Bonnie is a bundle of energy with big baby blues!(WCTV)

Look at those eyes! Bonnie is a bundle of energy with mesmerizing baby blues and eyeliner exquisitely applied by mother nature!
This puppy loves to run and play and keep it movin’!
Bonnie loves chasing squirrels and butterflies and would love a playmate to grow up with!

MEET SYRE!
This happy go lucky dog will make you smile or maybe even laugh out loud!(WCTV)

This happy go lucky dog will make you smile or maybe even laugh out loud.
He bounces along full of confidence and joy.
Half pittie, half basset hound, this lowrider is all heart.
Syre is hoping to swap all that caramel goodness for a lifetime of respect and TLC. You in???

MEET MELON!
Melon is cautious until she gets to know you, then this sweetheart starts to shine!(WCTV)

This sweetheart is ready to take a deep breath and find her forever family.

Melon is a quick learner with a a taste for treats.
She’s playful and kid-friendly. She would love a family that will blanket her with TLC and stay right by her side as she discovers the world.

River is a playful pup who specializes in snuggling and stealing hearts.(WCTV)
Prepare to have your heart stolen and carried away by River.
This playful puppy is into frolicking and belly rubs.
River is a four-month-old with a velvety mocha coat.
She’s into snuggling and planting big sloppy kisses on your face and yeah, being carried around like a baby isn’t bad either!
You can visit little miss River at the shelter this weekend!
MEET AND GREET
You can meet these dogs and dozens more awaiting adoption at the Tallahassee Animal Service Center. It’s located across from Tom Brown Park at 1125 Easterwood Drive in Tallahassee.
People can walk through the kennels Wednesday through Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. People can also visit by appointment the rest of the week from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
