The Troy Trojans and the Jacksonville State Gamecocks will square off in the Salute to Veterans Bowl Tuesday night.

The Trojans finished the regular season with an 8-5 record and in first place in the Sun Belt Conference West with a 6-2 record against conference opponents. They ended the season with a 31-14 loss to No. 24 James Madison on Dec. 5. Quarterback Goose Crowder has led the team this season with 1,314 passing yards and 11 touchdowns.
The Gamecocks also finished with an 8-5 overall regular season record and a 7-1 record in the Conference USA. They finished the season with a 19-15 loss to Kennesaw State on Dec. 5. Quarterback Caden Creel and Cam Crook both rushed for a touchdown in the loss.
