Few rock bands in the land pack the twin barrels of power and efficiency like Iowa’s Telekinetic Yeti.
Through some sort of sonic wizardry, they manage to conjure maximalist stoner doom metal with the slash and agility of a two-piece band. I was at their 2018 Florida debut at Will’s Pub and I still bear the burns from their heat. They’re a live marvel that’ll leave you stupefied and converted.
Opening will be nasty Virginia sludge dealers Thunderchief and Orlando psych-prog band The Dark Arctic.
