A 6-year-old boy is in critical condition after being hit by a car in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.The crash happened on Reams Road near Legado Drive on Wednesday night, FHP says.Investigators said a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe was traveling southbound on Reams Road when the child was walking in the roadway in an unknown direction.Officials said the child was in the vehicle’s direct path, and the driver was unable to avoid him. Investigators said a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe was traveling southbound on Reams Road when the child was walking in the roadway in an unknown direction.

Officials said the child was in the vehicle’s direct path, and the driver was unable to avoid him. As a result, the front of the SUV hit the child.
