ST. PETE BEACH — The St. Pete Beach Public Library updated its schedule of events.

• Tuesdays, 10 a.m. — Story Time! Perfect for children ages 5 and under and their caregivers. Explore stories, songs and movement that build early literacy skills and support motor development.

• Wednesday, Dec. 24, and Thursday, Dec. 25 — Library Closed

• Friday, Dec. 26, 12 p.m. – Feature Film: Join us for a feature film and light refreshments. See spblibrary.com for movie details.

• Saturdays, 2-4 p.m. — Tech Help Saturdays: Get help with technology basics for phones, computers, and library-related applications. (No repairs). Walk in or sign up for a 30-minute appointment at https://calendly.com/stpbeachlibrary/30min or call 727-363-9238. Note that because this program will be occurring after regular library hours, all other library services will be suspended during this time.

Gulf Beaches Library sets events

MADEIRA BEACH – The Gulf Beaches Public Library has released its latest schedule of upcoming events.

• Writers Group: Mondays, 10 a.m.-noon

• Closed: Wednesday, Dec. 24 and Thursday, Dec. 25.

• Meditation: Fridays, 11 a.m.-noon. Relax and rejuvenate at the end of the week.

• Scrabble: Fridays, 1-4 p.m.

• Storytime: Fridays at 10:30 a.m. ages 2-4.

Redington Shores to fill committee posts

The following committee positions are currently open.

• Gulf Beaches Public Library Board: alternate, one position, at large. The term is open-ended. The alternate serves with a commissioner/voting member (currently Erin Schoos) and attends Library Board meetings in the absence of the commissioner.

• Parks and Rec Committee: District One, alternate, at large. Term is two years. The committee meets once or twice a month, usually Wednesday.
