GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – The hottest housing market in Florida cooled off in November.
This week, TV20 reported how Ocala is ranked as the number two migration destination in the country in 2025.
But numbers released on Friday by Florida Realtors show new home sales dropped 7% from a year ago in the Ocala market. The average sales price also fell 5%.
On the other hand, the numbers were very strong in the Gainesville market.
Sales jumped more than 14% while prices rose almost 3%.
