TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Claus and his friends are ready to join you for Christmas! He’s one of dozens of dogs ready and waiting to be adopted right now!
Furry Friday is collaboration between WCTV and the Tallahassee Animal Service Center designed to get dogs out of their kennels and into the spotlight in hopes of helping them find fur-ever homes faster.
Here are the dogs we are featuring this week:

This 12 year old is the perfect companion. Her owner could no longer care for her, but BB is used to creature comforts and plenty of TLC.
BB would love to join you for a stroll, show off her TV-ready smile and amaze you with her ability to bounce for treats!

This dog is a perfectly wrapped package of fluffy, easy going, doggie goodness!
Claus is a 4 year old shepherd mix who digs back scratches, belly rubs and a brisk walk right by your side.
He connects quickly, and kept glancing back during our walk in the woods to make sure we were keeping up.
Claus would be the perfect addition to your family and your home this holiday season.

The happy go lucky lab mix is excited about life.
Oz is hoping to find a family that loves adventures and the great outdoors.

You can meet these dogs and dozens more awaiting adoption at the Tallahassee Animal Service Center. It’s located across from Tom Brown Park at 1125 Easterwood Drive in Tallahassee.
People can walk through the kennels Wednesday through Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. People can also visit by appointment the rest of the week from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
