FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A rollover crash in Fort Lauderdale sent one person to the hospital overnight Saturday.

Investigators believe the driver lost control while crossing train tracks, causing the vehicle to veer off the road, strike a home’s front porch and roll over.
Part of the porch was knocked to the ground. No one inside the home was hurt. Police said they attempted to contact the homeowner overnight and left a notice before taping off the area.
The car, a Tesla, was heavily damaged and towed from the scene. Roads in the area were closed for several hours as crews cleared debris.
Police told Local 10’s Jolena Esperto that the driver was taken to the hospital. They have not released his or her identity or condition.
