COLLEGE STATION — Texas A&M football running back Le’Veon Moss left the field in the third quarter of the College Football Playoff game between Texas A&M and Miami with an apparent injury.
Moss, who missed the six games prior to Saturday’s contest with an indisclosed injury issue, was seen walking to the locker room at Kyle Field. At the 5:29 mark of the third quarter, he hobbled off the field to the bench and slammed his helmet in frustration.
The senior carried the ball seven times for 15 yards before he left the game.
Moss was a preseason All-SEC selection at running back. He picked up 389 yards on 70 rushes during the regular season before his ailment forced him to the sideline. In 2024, he averaged 6.3 yards per carry and scored 10 touchdowns.
With and without Moss, the Aggies struggled to run the ball through three quarters against the Hurricanes, posting just 2.7 yards per rush on 27 attempts.
