The Miami Dolphins made their benching of Tua Tagovailoa official Sunday morning, but the more significant news in the team’s list of inactives is the shelving of Nick Westbrook-Ikhine.

With three games left in the regular season, the Dolphins are out of contention for a playoff spot. By benching Westbrook-Ikhine, there’s a chance Miami could position itself to receive a fourth-round compensatory draft selection in the 2026 NFL draft.

With Westbrook-Ikhine out of action, the Dolphins will have Jaylen Waddle, Malik Washington, Cedrick Wilson, Dee Eskridge, and Theo Wease at receiver against Cincinnati.
