An investigation is underway in Miami Gardens after police say a triple shooting left two people dead and one person injured early Tuesday morning.
Miami Gardens police said officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area of NW 175th Street and NW 19th Avenue around 12:45 a.m.
Police said that when officers arrived, they located three people who were suffering from gunshot wounds.
The preliminary investigation showed that a party was taking place at the home when shots rang out, police said.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the scene and took one person to a hospital by ground, and two people were taken to a hospital via a medical helicopter.
Two of the victims were later pronounced dead at the hospital.
No other information was released.
