It’s official!
Paradise Cinema will be the name of Key Biscayne’s new theater in the revamped Village Chambers.
There were 82 submissions in the naming contest, making it difficult for the panel of judges to narrow the choices.
The three finalists were Cinema Paradiso, Island Reel House and Paradise Cinema, which won through a consensus of votes from Village Council members last week.
The person who submitted the winning entry will be recognized by Village officials and gets to select his or her movie of choice at an upcoming showing to inaugurate the theater.
