TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – There were no jackpot winners in Monday’s Powerball.
That means the grand prize for the game’s next drawing on Christmas Eve could be $1.7 billion.
Locals in Tallahassee are testing their luck to see if they could be the next winner.
“If I win, I just want to take care of my family, how I supposed to, like retire my mom, give back to the community, help those in need, you know, because this time of year, the giving, it’s the giving time of year, and I also just want to be a blessing to those who are unfortunate,” Kenrick Bronson, a construction worker said.
Powerball said the jackpot has only been won on Christmas Eve once in the game’s history.
