Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol are on-scene of a fatal 5-vehicle crash that left a woman dead and two others injured, FHP said.

The crash occurred at approximately 4:56 p.m. on US-27 and Greater Groves Blvd in Clermont, FHP said. The five vehicles involved in the crash are a 2017 Audi A7, 2019 Subaru Outback, a 2015 Lexus RX, a 2020 Toyota Camry and a 2023 Honda Civic.

A woman, who was the driver of the Audi, was airlifted to Osceola Regional Hospital and was pronounced dead, FHP said. Her identity is yet to be confirmed.

The driver and passenger of the Subaru were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, FHP said. The remaining drivers and passengers were not taken to the hospital and remained at on-scene.

FHP said the sequence of events that led to this crash are still under investigation. There is currently roadblock for the intersection.
