MICCOSUKEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Families were able to enjoy one last Christmas activity in Miccosukee Wednesday at the Redemptive Love Farm and Rescue.
“We really get to show the reason for Christmas,” Founder Shannon Carroll said. “Having a place that literally just shines Christmas cheer all over the kids and their parents has been an amazing, amazing thing to partake in.”
Christmas at the Farm is an annual event for Redemptive Love, which Carroll said they depend on to continue operating. “So we can pay our staff and keep all the things we do with animal therapy and animal rescue going year-round.

Kids get to enjoy Santa inside the farmhouse, horse and carriage rides, bonfires, a snow play area, and a petting pen.
People were able to watch Carroll milk the cows and learn more about caring for livestock. She said they want people to enjoy every event while gaining more knowledge on farming.
“There’s never a moment that we’re not educating about the importance of agriculture,” Carroll said. “I mean, that is the foundation of what we do here at the farm.”
