Person found dead near Hollywood Beach

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — A person was found dead near Hollywood Beach on Friday morning, police confirmed.

Officers with the Hollywood Police Department responded around 7:15 a.m. to a report of a possible deceased individual near Cleveland Street and the beach.

Upon arrival, they discovered a person who was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other details about the person’s age, gender, identity, or cause of death were immediately released.
