With Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy headed to South Florida this weekend, the popular spot for state visits is at Mar-a-Lago.The White House confirmed Friday night that Zelenskyy will meet with President Donald Trump on on Palm Beach. On Saturday, the meeting time was changed to 1 p.m. from 3 p.m.In both his first and second terms in office, Trump has invited multiple foreign leaders to Palm Beach.In 2017, former Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe was one of the first foreign leaders to visit Mar-a-Lago. Abe’s visit coincided with North Korean nuclear missile tests.Probably the most famous international visit to Mar-a-Lago during Trump’s first term was the President of China. The visit saw hundreds of supporters and protesters line the streets.Since then, multiple other state leaders visited the famous Palm Beach home, even when Trump was not president.Argentine President Javier Milei visited Palm Beach in the past year.Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel has also visited. That was back in July 2024. He met with both then-President Joe Biden and Trump separately before addressing the Congress.
