YEAR’S EVE. COMING UP NEXT TIME I SEE YOU. MEANWHILE, THE HOLIDAY TRAVEL RUSH IS IN FULL SWING AT ORLANDO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, AND FOR SOME PASSENGERS, THAT MEANS LONG LINES AND A LOT OF FRUSTRATION. SO LET’S TAKE A LOOK AT THE FLIGHT BOARD THAT’S RIGHT HERE. 63 FLIGHTS HAVE ALREADY BEEN DELAYED AND SEVEN HAVE BEEN CANCELED. ONLY 77 ARE ON TIME. AND AS THE DAYS GO ON, THINGS ARE EXPECTED TO GET MUCH WORSE OUT THERE. WESH TWO SPENCER TRACY TAKES US INSIDE THE AIRPORT TO TAKE A CLOSER LOOK AT WHAT TRAVELERS ARE NOW DEALING WITH. WE’VE NEVER BEEN HERE BEFORE. IT’S IT’S IT’S HUGE. IT’S BUSY. AND THAT’S THE REACTION WE HEARD FROM A LOT OF PEOPLE TRAVELING THROUGH ORLANDO INTERNATIONAL. WE GOT HERE LIKE THREE, FOUR HOURS EARLY. LIKE WE’RE MAKING SURE THAT NOTHING GOES WRONG. WE SAW LONG LINES AND LONG WAITS AT ONE POINT, TSA ASKED PASSENGERS TO ONLY GET IN LINE IF THEIR FLIGHT WAS DEPARTING WITHIN THE NEXT TWO HOURS. AS CROWDS CONTINUE TO GROW. YESTERDAY WE WERE CATCHING OUR FLIGHT WITH SPIRIT AND FIRST THEY GOT DELAYED, THEN IT GOT CANCELED. THEN WE GOT A NOTIFICATION SAYING THAT THERE WERE NO FLIGHTS GOING IN AND OUT FOR TWO DAYS, SO THAT WAS A BUMMER. WE HAD TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO STAY A LITTLE LONGER THAN WE FOUGHT THE FLIGHT, BUT JUST SO MANY PEOPLE HERE DURING TRAVELING DELAYS WITH THE WEATHER GOING UP NORTH, THAT’S THE REALITY FOR SOME HOLIDAY TRAVELERS DEALING WITH DELAYS, CANCELLATIONS AND LAST MINUTE CHANGES JUST TO GET TO THEIR DESTINATION. OTHERS HAD SMOOTHER TRIPS BUT STILL FACE CHALLENGES FLYING INTO ORLANDO WITH SOME HEAVY FOG. IT WAS CLOUDY HERE, SO WE FINALLY THE THIRD ONE. YEAH, TWO ATTEMPTS YOU COULD TELL. AS I LOOKED OUT THE WINDOW I’M LIKE, OH, IT LOOKS A LITTLE CLOUDY. I GUESS. HE DECIDED NOT TO LAND. AND THEN THE THIRD ONE, WE WERE GOOD. AIRPORT OFFICIALS CONTINUE TO URGE PASSENGERS TO ARRIVE EARLY, CHECK FLIGHT STATUS FREQUENTLY, AND BE PREPARED FOR WEATHER RELATED ISSUES AND CROWDS. THE HOLIDAY TRAVEL RUSH CONTINUES UNTIL JANUARY 5TH. I WOULD SAY GET TO THE AIRPORT ON TIME, RELAX. THINGS GET. YEAH. BE PATIENT. THINGS GET COMPLICATED AT TIMES AND JUST BE PREPARED FOR SLIGHT DELAYS. COVERING ORANGE COUNTY AND MCO SPENCER TRACY WESH TWO NEWS. SOME GOOD ADVICE THERE. BE PATIENT. THE BUSIEST DAYS ARE STILL AHEAD OF US WITH SATURDAY, JANUARY 3RD PROJECTED TO BE THE PEAK DAY WI
