Fort Myers, Fla.—The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District One hosts a pre-construction session about the interchange improvements at Interstate 75 and Daniels Parkway.

The session is an open house on Thursday, January 8, at Riverside Church, located at 660 Daniels Pkwy, and starts at 6 p.m.

A virtual meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. Click here to register.

The plan includes interchange improvements, which will involve rebuilding the Daniels Parkway interchange, also known as Exit 131, to create a diverging diamond.

The diverging diamond would involve reconstructing the I-75 ramps and incorporating pedestrian and bicycle paths through the interchange.

FDOT says they would also install new signals at the ramps and resurface Daniels Parkway through the reconstruction area.
