Following the conclusion of Week 17 of the NFL season, where do the Jacksonville Jaguars now sit in the updated playoff standings?
With Sunday’s win over the Indianapolis Colts, the Jaguars improved to 12-4 on the year and have won seven consecutive games.
In the AFC playoff picture, the Jaguars remain the three seed, one game back of the 13-3 Denver Broncos — who are the No. 1 seed — and the 13-3 New England Patriots.
Jacksonville remains in the mix for the conference’s top seed, and they need these three things to happen in Week 18 to secure that spot.
Along with pushing for the AFC’s No. 1 seed, the Jaguars can still secure the AFC South title in Week 18 as well.

To do that, Jacksonville either needs to defeat Tennessee or have Houston lose to Indianapolis. The Jaguars have a one-game lead over the 11-5 Texans.
