A man accused of raping a woman in southwest Miami-Dade has been arrested, authorities said.
Pablo Virgilio Chubbeb, 23, is facing a charge of sexual battery by threats, Miami-Dade jail records showed.
According to an arrest report, the alleged incident happened Friday at an address on Southwest 189th Avenue in a rural area of southwest Miami-Dade.

The alleged victim, a 22-year-old woman, said Chubbeb approached her and said “You’re going to give it to me or I’m going to take it,” the report said.
She said he then removed her pants and raped her.
Afterwards, she said Chubbeb threatened her, telling her if she reported the rape to police, he would have someone hurt her, the report said.
Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office investigators questioned Chubbeb, who initially denied the allegations then made a confession, the report said.
Chubbeb, who is a Guatemalan citizen, was booked into jail and being held without bond but also has an immigration hold, records showed.
