Surveillance footage shows the moments before and after a woman was shot and killed outside a convenience store in Little Havana over the weekend.

Desiree Gonzalez died after the shooting on Saturday before midnight at Habibi Mini Market on Southwest Third Street, Miami Police officials said.

In the surveillance footage, Gonzalez is seen in a red jacket and a black hat going inside the store. Moments later, an argument breaks out between people riding by on their bikes and two people outside the store.

The video then shows Gonzalez coming outside as gunshots are fired between the two groups. After she was shot, people are seen running over trying to help.

“The lady, she went outside,” the store owner said. “She got shot in the neck … she fell.”

Police are investigating after a woman was killed in a shooting in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood late Saturday night.

Gonzalez was rushed to the hospital, where she later died.

Flowers and candles now mark the spot where Gonzalez was killed. Police believe she wasn’t the target.

“She was a beautiful person,” said Julio Saenz, Gonzalez’s boyfriend. “My heart hurts, because one thing is having her by your side and then, 15 minutes later, she’s gone. And when you go looking for her and find out the person is already dead, you don’t know what to do.”

Police still haven’t made any arrests, and the shooting is still under investigation.
