TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – An FSU student injured in an apartment complex fire last month has died, according to a GoFundMe update.<\/p>\n
Preet Harsoda, 27, passed away Sunday, after being severely burned when a fire broke out at a building at the Social Seminole apartment complex<\/a>, his roommate confirmed to WCTV. <\/p>\n Harsoda had been hospitalized as a result of his injuries since the November 19 fire, according to the GoFundMe.<\/p>\n \u201cHe faced his injuries with remarkable courage and strength, and his medical team did everything they could to care for him,\u201d the GoFundMe read. <\/p>\n In a December 17 update, the GoFundMe said Harsoda had undergone several surgeries, including the amputation of both legs. <\/p>\n The fire at the Social Seminole apartment complex left one building severely damaged, injured eight people and displaced more than 70. <\/a><\/p>\n The cause of the fire remains unknown as of Tuesday. <\/p>\n To keep up with the latest news as it develops, follow WCTV on Facebook<\/a>, Instagram<\/a>, YouTube<\/a>, Nextdoor<\/a> <\/a>and X<\/a> (Twitter<\/a>).<\/p>\n Have a news tip or see an error?
