But perhaps the most important year in review is the list of license plate submissions Floridians attempted to put on their cars. Every year, the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles compiles a list of personalized license plate submissions that it rejected for being too objectionable, obscene, and, at times, nauseating. The Inventory Control Unit stays up-to-date on the latest slang from Urban Dictionary and TikTok as it reviews each submission, so abuelas in South Florida do not veer off the Palmetto Expressway in sheer horror.<\/p>\n

Like clockwork, the hornballs returned for the 2025 reindition of the distasteful license plates as they continually try to sneak a sexual reference past the review unit. Year after year, (fortunately for the drivers who must share the roads with the sex-crazed motorists behind the foul suggestions), the state rejects the submission for \u201cV1BR80R,\u201d \u201cWET AF,\u201d \u201cHWK 2AW,\u201d and \u201cERECT.\u201d It saves you from an awkward conversation with your mother about the car stopped in front of you sporting a license plate that reads \u201cHEDPLZ,\u201d \u201c2BONER,\u201d or \u201cOMY2FYM.\u201d<\/p>\n
