While his rushing ability would have made him a great fit in Gus Malzahn&#8217;s offense, it wasn&#8217;t meant to be, and the parties have gone their separate ways.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">The Wisconsin Badgers emerged as the top school in his recruitment, and he <a href=\"http:\/\/fsuwire.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/college\/badgers\/football\/2026\/01\/04\/wisconsin-football-colton-joseph-commit\/88017268007\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">committed to them on Sunday<\/a> without ever visiting FSU. He was ranked as the No. 155 overall player and No. 19 quarterback in the transfer portal by 247Sports.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">He has completed 59.8% of his passes for 4,251 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 15 interceptions during his career. He has also rushed for 1,654 yards and 24 more scores and has two seasons of eligibility remaining.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">While he was a target for the Seminoles, he was far from the only one, and they still have several more available and expected to visit Tallahassee.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Former UNLV Rebels <a href=\"http:\/\/fsuwire.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/college\/fsu\/football\/2026\/01\/03\/fsu-football-anthony-colandrea-transfer-portal-visit\/88006971007\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">quarterback Anthony Colandrea<\/a> is set to visit on Sunday, as is former Florida Gators <a href=\"http:\/\/fsuwire.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/college\/fsu\/football\/2026\/01\/03\/fsu-football-dj-lagway-visit-florida\/88011076007\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">quarterback DJ Lagway<\/a>. They are not the only two, either, as former Auburn Tigers quarterback Ashton Daniels is expected to <a href=\"http:\/\/fsuwire.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/college\/fsu\/football\/2026\/01\/03\/fsu-football-auburn-ashton-daniels-visit\/88007217007\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">visit on Monday<\/a>.
