The loan will be used to refinance existing construction debt and fund remaining construction costs, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/commercialobserver.com\/company\/berkadia\/\" title=\"Berkadia\" class=\"company-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Berkadia<\/a>, which arranged the transaction.<\/p>\n<p>SEE ALSO: <a href=\"https:\/\/commercialobserver.com\/2026\/01\/safeguard-self-storage-buys-borough-park-building-40m\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Safeguard Self Storage Buys Borough Park Building for $40M<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Berkadia arranged the deal with a team consisting of Mitch Sinberg, Scott Wadler, Matt Robbins, Brad Williamson and Patrick Johnson. The loan closed on Dec. 23.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMidtown Capital has navigated the market and positioned Astor Park to capitalize on improved multifamily valuation and fundamentals in one of South Florida\u2019s strongest urban submarkets,\u201d Wadler said in a statement. \u201cFlagler Village continues to attract strong renter demand, and this financing provides Midtown Capital with the flexibility and runway needed to deliver and stabilize this centrally located, high-quality asset.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Midtown Capital Partners in partnership with Prospect Real Estate Group acquired a 1.3-acre site at 333 NE Sixth Street in Fort Lauderdale\u2019s Flagler Village neighborhood in October 2022, CO <a href=\"https:\/\/commercialobserver.com\/2022\/10\/midtown-capital-partners-prospect-real-estate-group-flagler-village\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">reported<\/a> at the time.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The two-tower, 12-story project will feature apartments ranging from studios to 1,735-square-foot penthouses.
