TAMPA, Fla. \u2014 Tampa Fire Rescue (TFR) said it is on the scene of a fire at the Grand Hyatt Hotel at 2900 Bayport Drive.<\/p>\n

Fire crews were dispatched to the hotel parking garage about 12:50 p.m. following multiple 911 calls.<\/p>\n

TFR said when fire crews arrived, they saw heavy smoke and fire coming from the second floor of the parking garage.<\/p>\n

A second alarm was called to help contain the fire and keep it from spreading to other floors.<\/p>\n

Due to smoke conditions and safety concerns, the fire crew temporarily left the garage and transitioned to a defensive attack.<\/p>\n

TFR said the fire was brought under control in about an hour.<\/p>\n

Ten cars sustained significant damage, officials said.<\/p>\n
