Riders can pick from 15 to 100 miles. There&#8217;s also a 5K run\/walk and a Mini Kids Ride. You can sign up now, and prices drop if you register before Jan. 23.<\/p>\n<p>About 1,000 people join this three-day event each year. They come from all over the United States and even other countries. Courses twist through the northwest and southwest parts of town, launching from Rotary Park.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re incredibly excited to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Tour De Cape \u2014 a true Cape Coral tradition that brings our community together for fitness, fun, and friendly competition,&#8221; said Cape Coral Parks and Recreation Director Joe Petrella, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.capecoralbreeze.com\/lifestyles\/local-lifestyles\/2026\/01\/02\/registrations-underway-for-tour-de-cape\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Cape Coral Breeze<\/a>. &#8220;This event has grown into something special over the decades and we&#8217;re proud to host runners, cyclists, families, and visitors from across the region as we kick off another healthy new year.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Things start Jan. 23 with a kick-off party at The Westin outside Marker 92 Waterfront Bar &amp; Bistro from 4 to 7 p.m. You can grab packets, maps, and T-shirts there. The first 250 people who pick up their packet get a logo item.<\/p>\n<p>The 5K run\/walk begins at 8 a.m. on Jan. 24 with chip timing, video finish, and a grab-and-go breakfast. Kids hit the pavement at 10:30 a.m. that same day with the Mini Kids Ride, though safety and helmet checks happen at 10:15. Training wheels won&#8217;t work on this course, and balance bikes can&#8217;t be used either. Every child who rides gets entered to win a new bike.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday brings bike rides at 15, 30, 62, and 100 miles. Riders sprint through a &#8220;speed zone&#8221; challenge that clocks their final quarter mile. Police watch the open courses. Staff from Parks and Recreation and Cape Coral Police Department will rescue tired riders.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What makes Tour De Cape so special is that there&#8217;s something for everyone,&#8221; said Joe Petrella. &#8220;From beginners and families in the Mini Kids Ride to those tackling the 100-mile bike route, we offer a range of distances and formats so participants can choose what fits their pace and experience level.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Early registration runs $25 for the 5K, $10 for the Mini Kids Ride, and $40 for bike rides. Want both the 5K and bike ride? A combo package costs $55. Prices jump on Jan. 24.
