(WCTV) &#8211; The Tallahassee Fire Department responded to an early morning house fire on Tuesday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The fire occurred at a house on Walcott Street at around 1:15 a.m., according to TFD. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-center article-text\">More Tallahassee news: <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">When crews arrived, heavy smoke and flames were coming from the single-story home. TFD said the fire was found near the fireplace and had spread to surrounding areas, including into the chimney.
