The Calusa Land Trust\u2019s monthly work\/fun party will be held Saturday, Jan. 10, at Fritts Park, located on Beach Daisy Lane just south of the trailer park in Bokeelia, beginning at 9 am. This maintained park, like all its preserves, is open to the public. <\/p>\n

The mission this month will be grounds sprucing up for seasonal use and in preparation for the 50th Anniversary Celebration to take place on March 7.<\/p>\n

The Calusa Land Trust is an all-volunteer land conservancy and relies upon motivated Pine Islanders to assist in the stewardship of its 2,400+ acres of preserved lands. Happy participants should include work gloves\/clothing, pruning tools and for their efforts will be rewarded with beverages, a pizza lunch and shared warm friendships.<\/p>\n
