The Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> are back on the practice field for the first time this week as they prepare for their AFC wild-card matchup with the Buffalo Bills<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The official Wednesday injury report hasn’t been released at this time, but we do know from ESPN’s<\/a> Michael DiRocco is that during the open viewing portion of practice, left tackle Cole Van Lanen and cornerback Jarrian Jones were not spotted on the practice field.<\/p>\n

DiRocco also notes that cornerbacks Greg Newsome and Montaric Brown, along with defensive end Danny Striggow, were wearing non-contact tops.<\/p>\n

Van Lanen exited Sunday’s game against Tennessee with a knee injury. Jones played a team-high 48 defensive snaps in that game.<\/p>\n

Van Lanen has started at left tackle for the Jaguars<\/a> over the last month of action. Walker Little has recently moved to right guard with Patrick Mekari out.<\/p>\n

Little would presumably be the next man up at left tackle if needed, but we will see how the week goes.<\/p>\n

Brown played 41 snaps this past Sunday, Newsome 34, and Striggow 11 in his first game back from an ankle injury.<\/p>\n
