for a fatal shooting that occurred on Halloween several years ago<\/a>.<\/p>\nOfficers arrested 39-year-old Tycine Lowe on Wednesday on a charge of manslaughter. <\/p>\n
The shooting occurred on Oct. 31, 2023 along Northwest 28th Street in Lauderhill. <\/p>\n
Police responded after receiving calls of two people shooting at each other. <\/p>\n
Upon arrival, officers said they found three people who had been shot: a woman who was lying in the street and pronounced dead shortly after, a man who had been shot in the foot and an underage girl who was grazed by a bullet while in her bedroom. <\/p>\n
The deceased victim was later identified as 35-year-old Trecia Spencer Carruthers. <\/p>\n
At the time, officers said they were told the shooter took off from the area in a multi-colored truck. <\/p>\n
An arrest form for Lowe was heavily redacted and did not include the details of how, when and where police were able to locate and arrest him. <\/p>\n
Lowe is currently being held at the Broward Main Jail on no bond. <\/p>\n
