ORLANDO, Fla. (Jan.\u00a08, 2026) \u2014\u00a0The Orlando\u00a0Pride and\u00a0midfielder\u00a0Grace Chanda have mutually agreed to part ways, the\u00a0Club announced today. Chanda joined the Pride midway\u00a0through\u00a0the 2024 season and made seven\u00a0appearances\u00a0for Orlando across all competitions.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cGrace is an exceptional\u00a0athlete\u00a0and person, and we are grateful for the contributions she made during her time with the Pride,\u201d said\u00a0Orlando Pride Head\u00a0Coach Seb Hines. \u201cAfter discussions with Grace, we mutually agreed that this is the best step for her career and personal goals. We wish her nothing but success in her next chapter and look forward to seeing her continue to grow both on and off the field.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Chanda signed with the Orlando Pride in May 2024\u00a0ahead of her\u00a0participation\u00a0in\u00a0the 2024 Paris Olympics\u00a0with Zambia, but her NWSL debut was\u00a0delayed due to an injury\u00a0suffered\u00a0during the\u00a0tournament.\u00a0Chanda would go on and make her Pride debut as a second-half substitute on March 19 against the Washington Spirit during the 2025\u00a0NWSL\u00a0season.<\/p>\n
