It sits adjacent to Escondido Lounge and next door to Taco Works, both of which are also owned by Cozza. He opened t<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gulfshorebusiness.com\/hospitality\/oise-ristorante-brings-japanese-italian-fusion-to-downtown-fort-myers\/article_a884be23-d66e-577c-8c91-c5316d261afb.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">he original Oise last year in downtown Fort Myers<\/a> in the former Blu Sushi space. That restaurant blends Italian and Japanese cuisines in collaboration with Kilgore.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>                        <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAQAAAADCAQAAAAe\/WZNAAAAEElEQVR42mM8U88ABowYDABAxQPltt5zqAAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==\" alt=\"Brad Cozza.jpeg\" class=\"img-responsive lazyload full blur\" width=\"1200\" height=\"900\" data- data-\/><\/p>\n<p>             <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/695fc3982619e.image.jpg\" alt=\"\" aria-hidden=\"true\" loading=\"lazy\" height=\"150\" width=\"200\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Brad Cozza, restaurateur and co-owner of Oise Ushi, opened the sushi-only concept in Cape Coral as a scaled-down offshoot of Oise Ristorante in downtown Fort Myers.<\/p>\n<p>                                    David Dorsey<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">With a smaller footprint in Cape Coral, Cozza and Kilgore decided to drop the Italian side of the menu and focus exclusively on Japanese offerings, branding the concept as Ushi.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u201cThis is going to be a sushi-only concept,\u201d Cozza said. \u201cIt\u2019s going to be the Japanese portion of the menu. Oise Ristorante has a 50-50 balance of Italian and Japanese. This is going to be the Japanese side only.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u201cAnd we have enhanced it with Temaki rolls, and we\u2019ve also added two sushi rolls.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Although Kilgore is not a traditional sushi chef by training, Cozza said he quickly mastered the cuisine. Sushi rolls are priced between $17 and $19. Sushi rolls at the restaurant are priced between $17 and $19.<\/p>\n<p>                                    David Dorsey<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Cozza said the restaurant is unique in pairing sushi with a 1920s-style speakeasy atmosphere.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u201cThis is a Brad Kilgore production,\u201d Cozza said. \u201cHe was not in sushi, and I have to say, what makes the sushi different is it\u2019s not just your traditional protein, soy, rice. It\u2019s a fully composed entree. With all the sauces, it\u2019s absolutely delicious.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u201cWe\u2019re very excited about this.
