FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) \u2014 A Fort Pierce landlord and her companion are accused of turning a tenant dispute into a violent confrontation at gunpoint.<\/p>\n
Deputies with the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office (SLCSO) say they responded to the 5200 block of Seagrape Drive just before 11 p.m. on Saturday for reports of a burglary and assault.<\/p>\n
The complainant reportedly told deputies that his landlord, 38-year-old Kristi Stewart of Fort Pierce, entered the room that he’s renting and battered him. He noted that at one point, the landlord’s companion, 34-year-old Geoffery Moore of Fort Pierce, stood by holding a gun and threatened to shoot him if he tried to defend himself.<\/p>\n
