Cape Coral residents can catch a free flick next Friday, courtesy of the city.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The City of Cape Coral Parks and Recreation\u2019s \u201cPatriotic Movie\u201d has its showing on Jan. 16 on the front lawn of City Hall.<\/p>\n
Residents can enjoy the history-filled film \u2014 \u201cNational Treasure\u201d \u2014 on a giant inflatable movie screen starting at 6 p.m.<\/p>\n
\u201cMovie nights like this are one of my favorite ways to bring the community together,\u201d said Parks and Recreation Director Joe Petrella. \u201cIt\u2019s a fun, laid\u2011back night where you can grab dinner from a food truck, relax with friends and family, and enjoy a great movie under the stars. We\u2019re planning to keep these events going throughout the year because they\u2019re such a simple, meaningful way for residents to connect and enjoy everything Cape Coral has to offer.\u201d<\/p>\n
The city invites attendees to Movie on the Lawn to arrive early to get a good spot, enjoy the Fun Mobile, purchase dinner from Joe\u2019s Jumbo Wieners, get a sweet treat from Life\u2019s A Batch and a refreshing drink from Lemonade Social. <\/p>\n
Event attendees will have the chance to participate in trivia for a chance to win Chick-fil-A coupon cards.<\/p>\n
City Hall is at 1015 Cultural Park Blvd.<\/p>\n
